Exciting News for Lakepointe Residents!
We are pleased to announce that starting Wednesday, April 2nd, Lakepointe’s trash removal services will be provided by KC Disposal. This change comes at no additional cost to the HOA and brings several improvements for our community.
What Stays the Same

Pickup Day: Trash, recycling, and yard waste will continue to be collected every Wednesday.

Bins: Keep using your current bins! KC Disposal will provide new stickers for them.

Locally Owned: KC Disposal is a reputable, locally owned and operated company.

Reliable Fleet: They operate 50 trucks, all less than 5 years old.

Missed Pickup? A dedicated truck serves Johnson County for quick resolution of any missed collections.

Bulk Item Pickup: Each household is eligible for one bulk item pickup per year, up to 5 items. Details on how to schedule this will be provided soon.

Yard Waste: Yard waste collection continues all year long, with up to 10 bags per week allowed. Yard waste collection is subcontracted but remains seamless for residents.
Reminders for Residents

Set Out Time: Place all containers at the curb by 7:00 AM on Wednesday.

Best Practice: Set out bins Tuesday night and return them after collection Wednesday.

City Ordinance: Containers may be set out no more than 24 hours before pickup and must be stored out of sight within 12 hours after collection.

Yard Waste: Use approved kraft paper bags for yard waste. Sticks and branches should be bundled (max 4' in length).
